GLFC have achieved Charter Mark recognition from the F.A.

The F.A. Charter Mark is credited only to Clubs meeting the required criteria :

          • Written constitution

          • Screening certification for all managers, coaches and officials

          • Managers and coaches to achieve a minimum of F.A. Level 1 coaching qualification

          • Adherence to Codes of Conduct for Officials, players and spectators

          • Equal opportunities for all and dealing with Child Protection and Best Practice issues

The objectives of the Charter award are simple :

          • Improve standards and ensure quality provision of football for everyone

GLFC is showing to members, parents and public that it is a well organised and safe football club

The award is the result of the great care and effort put in by all club members

This ranges from the club executive through to every single footballer having played their parts.
